Summary:

One of the Happy Trails Theatre series that featured Roy Rogers and Dale Evans. Shortly before Texas is to become a state, maverick general LaRue (Henry Brandon) is intent on carving out an empire by eliminating the Texas Rangers and replacing them with his own band of regulators. Two Rangers, Captain Colt (Roy Rogers) and Sergeant Whittaker (Gabby Hayes) attempt to disrupt his plans until President Houston returns from Washington to lead the Army of Texas in foiling the plot.
